Our Purpose Statement is “Loving God, Growing as a Family, and Serving the World.” Within this statement we recognize five purposes of our church:
To be a worshiping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership (John 4:23-24, Hebrews 12:28, 13:15-16).
To help people experience a growing knowledge of God and man through daily study of the Scriptures (Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Peter 3:18).
To experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers in order to stimulate one another to love and good deeds (John 13:34-35, 1 John 1:7, Hebrews 19:24-25).
To be a church that ministers unselfishly to one another and to people in the community and the world in Jesus’ name (1 John 3:17-18, Luke 22:16, 1 Peter 4:10-11).
To be a dynamic spiritual organism, empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world (Luke 24:46-47).
