Prayer Chain

If you are in need of urgent prayer, call our Prayer Chain leader, Judy Snow at the office (289-2474) or at home (289-4499).  Your prayer request will be shared with dozens of people in the church within minutes for intercessory prayer.

Stitch in faith

A group of ladies who meet every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for several hours of quilting, sewing, crafting, or whatever other project you want to bring…along with your lunch.  A great way to fellowship and meet other women at Faith!

Union Gospel Mission

Once a month, our church is responsible to provide the meal, the worship service, and the preaching at the Union Gospel Mission in Aberdeen.  We have taken the first Monday of the month for years.

Gift Basket Outreach

Every visitor from the local community (who fills out a welcome card) receives a gift basket from our church thanking them for being our guests in a recent worship service.  Many in the church donate baskets and gifts to this ministry.

Food Bank

We always have a box available in the foyer to accept donations for our local food bank, run by the Galilean Chapel in Ocean Shores.  The food bank gives out food on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month between 1:30 and 5:00 PM.

Library

Down the hall past the restrooms…2nd to the last door on the right…you will find our church library filled with all kinds of books, dvds, bibles, and more.  Stop in and check something out!

Prayer Room

Down the hall past the restrooms…1st door to the left and you will find our prayer room.  This is a private place to spend time with the Lord.  Feel free to stop in and use it any time the church is open.

Website Ministry

Our church website includes weekly sermons, information about the church, upcoming events, the Bible Reading Plan, and more.

Cleaning Crew

These people are awesome!  Six to ten persons faithfully show up every Thursday morning at 8:30 AM to help vacuum, empty garbage, wipe down tables, restock supplies, even clean toilets!  They actually seem to have a great time each week working together…

Worship Teams

We are blessed at Faith Community Church with a number of people who are technically or musically talented. They are a very skilled group of believers with a heart for audio, visual and music ministry. Our morning worship and praise music is led by a team of singers and instrumentalists. This team meets regularly for prayer and practice.

Audio/Visual Team

Our morning services have one or two people dedicated to the technical aspects of the service. They run the sound system and the visuals. They also attend the weekly rehearsals with the musicians and singers.

Television, DVD, and CD Team

Our audio visual team also provides a weekly recording of our worship services to be aired on the local cable channel (#68) each Sunday morning and Wednesday afternoon.  A DVD or Audio CD of the sermon is also available upon request when recorded.  The sermons are also generally available for download on our website www.fccos.org.

Acts Drama Team

Once or twice a year, our drama team performs a presentation of worship and outreach to both encourage Christians and reach our community through a different venue.

Special Music

We occasionally have special music by soloists. People with technical or musical abilities and the desire to help with audio, visuals, or to sing or play an instrument are asked to contact our Music Director, Terry Merriman, for more information.

Women's Ministries

Judy Snow leads the Women’s Ministries, which is designed to address the unique needs and abilities of the women of our church and to provide a place for women to connect and fellowship with one another. It is a ministry run by women, for women.

The Women’s Ministries hosts special events just for women. These include Saturday brunches, all-day special events, and evening desserts.

Our long-range goal is to build up a Women’s Ministry that meets various needs in our community.  We also offer specific Bible study classes throughout the week for women.
