Our church has servant leaders responsible for the oversight and direction of the body. Our three pastors serve on the elder board along with at least five other men from the congregation. These men meet weekly for prayer and oversight and are available for counsel or to address any concerns impacting the body. They are servant leaders who lovingly shepherd our flock under the Lordship of Christ.
Our church has over a dozen men and women serving in this important biblical role. Their main function is to help minister to those people in the body who have special needs… widows, single moms, physically disabled or impaired, even new members who just haven’t gotten connected yet. These men and women are selected by the church and elders after meeting the qualifications of Acts 6:1-7 and 1 Timothy 3:8-13.
They meet monthly and also oversee the ministries that help meet needs within our body, such as benevolence, transportation, and moving teams.
