The Connection

In October 2007, The Connection Outreach was launched by a group of people from Faith Community Church.  Today it is our third worship service that meets Sunday nights as a non-traditional outreach to the community.

The Connection service meets in a building in downtown Ocean Shores where people are seated around tables and chairs in an informal setting.  Pastor Jim shares the same message as he does in the morning services.

Although both morning services at Faith are identical in content, the Connection Service is quite different.  The music is led by a different band, under the leadership of Colin Coyne, a local musician who writes his own songs for the Lord.  Many of the songs we sing at The Connection Service are originals written by Colin.  The music is definitely a bit more upbeat (real drums), a bit “rocky”, and a bit louder!  This service has proved to reach many persons who are looking for something different than a traditional church service.
